Welcome to AstralWise. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website astralwise.com and all associated services, tools, and content (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AstralWise, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. 2. Service Description
AstralWise provides online astrology tools and educational content rooted in the Hellenistic astrological tradition. Our Service includes, but is not limited to:
- Natal (birth) chart calculation using Whole Sign Houses and the seven classical planets.
- Synastry and compatibility analysis between two charts.
- Daily horoscopes based on classical techniques.
- Advanced features including annual profections, zodiacal releasing, Arabic Lots, and essential dignities (available with a premium subscription).
- Educational articles and blog posts about Hellenistic astrology, its history, and its techniques.
3. Disclaimer — Entertainment and Educational Purposes Only
All content, interpretations, predictions, and reports provided by AstralWise are for entertainment and educational purposes only. Our Service does not constitute and should not be interpreted as:
- Professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
- A substitute for consultation with a qualified professional in any field.
- A guarantee or prediction of future events, outcomes, or circumstances.
Astrology is a symbolic and interpretive practice, not a science. You should not make important life decisions based solely on astrological information. AstralWise makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any astrological interpretation or prediction. You use the Service and rely on its content entirely at your own discretion and risk.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on AstralWise — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, chart designs, software code, and the compilation thereof — is the property of AstralWise or its content contributors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- You may view, download, and print pages from the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from AstralWise without our prior written permission.
- The AstralWise name, logo, and all related names, logos, and service marks are trademarks of AstralWise. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
5. User Accounts
Certain features of AstralWise require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.
6. Premium Subscription and Payments
AstralWise offers a premium plan at $9.99 USD (one-time payment), which unlocks advanced astrological features and reports. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Billing: Your subscription will be billed monthly or annually (depending on the plan you choose) through our payment processor, Stripe. You authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the subscription fee.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.
- Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will apply at the start of your next billing period.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with AstralWise. Our refund policy is as follows:
- If you are unsatisfied with your premium subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal.
- To request a refund, contact us at support@astralwise.com with your account email and reason for the request.
- Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
- After the 14-day window, refunds are granted at our sole discretion.
8. Prohibited Conduct
When using AstralWise, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other users' accounts, or our servers and systems.
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service or extract data without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any content from AstralWise without authorization.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- AstralWise and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to AstralWise in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AstralWise and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by AstralWise. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. You access third-party links at your own risk.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AstralWise regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
